AES CUPRUM -The Art of Ceremonial Ware
We believe in the power of objects to tell stories. Aes Cuprum was conceived as a collection of ceremonial wares — vessels of light and reflection that honor life’s most treasured passages. Inspired by the meeting of sun and moon, each object celebrates duality: radiance and quietude, festivity and contemplation.
__ The hands that Shape Aes Cuprum
Each piece is brought to life by the Tambat artisans of Pune, descendants of a 400-year lineage of copper craft. Their hallmark is Matharkaam — rhythmic hammer strikes, counted in the thousands, that lend strength, tone, and texture to the metal.
With equal care, silver gilding or the art of varak is applied by hand — a technique requiring patience and absolute precision. In this delicate union, copper retains its warmth while silver awakens light, together creating vessels of quiet power.

The meeting of the Sun & Moon
An eternal dance of sun and moon, where copper glows like the first light of dawn, and silver shimmers like the quiet breath of night. Streaks and flecks—etched by time, shaped by hand—capture the fleeting harmony of light and shadow.
"We celebrate the art of slow creation, where every detail matters, and every object carries a story worth passing down."
